Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the market expansion of our fuel cell stack solutions tailored for large-scale data centers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical understanding of energy systems and a proven track record in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships within the data center or clean energy solutions sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and close strategic partnerships with managed or company data centers, as well as hyperscale and colocation data center operators.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Solydera’s fuel cell stack offerings.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Represent SolydEra at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in the energy cleantech solutions for data centers, or data center industries.
- Strong understanding of fuel cell technologies, energy infrastructure, or backup power systems.
- Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.
- Business Acumen
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
