We are looking for an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician with at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. The search is aimed at professionals who have held a role specifically dedicated to maintenance.

The successful candidate will carry out preventive, corrective and extraordinary maintenance on production plants and machinery, helping to ensure their efficiency and operational continuity.

What you will do

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician in industrial environments
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings
• Good knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drive systems, bearings, pumps, valves and industrial components
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and related components, including motors, inverters, sensors, power supplies, relays and contactors
• Ability to use standard electrical measuring instruments, such as multimeters and clamp meters
• Ability to operate conventional machine tools, particularly lathes, to manufacture or restore mechanical components
• Availability to work shifts and be on call should these arrangements be introduced. They are not currently in place

Preferred Skills

•  Basic knowledge of industrial automation, sufficient to understand equipment operation and support troubleshooting activities. PLC programming experience is not required
• Experience with penumatic and hydraulic systems
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software.

We are looking for a Process Engineer with at least 3-7 years of experience as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrialisation Engineer or in a comparable production environment. 

You will be responsible for the design, industrialisation, validation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for SOFC cells and stacks.

Yr role defines process parameters and specifications, supports equipment and tooling qualification and contributes to the ramp-up from pilot to serial production. You will drive improvements in yield, quality, cycle time and cost, acting as the technical owner of assigned manufacturing processes.

Yr role works closely with R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain and will be based in Pergine Valsugana (Trento), Italy, with regular presence on the production floor.

The position requires availability to travel, including international travel, as needed for production, supplier, technology transfer and other business activities.

What you will do

• Design, develop and industrialise manufacturing processes, defining process parameters, operating windows, tolerances and capability requirements.
• Lead process validation, including DOE, pre-series and qualification runs, and prepare validation documentation.
• Support NPI and technology transfer from development to production, providing manufacturing input to R&D and ensuring Design for Manufacturability.
• Define and maintain process documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, control plans, process flows, SOPs and PFMEA.
• Define technical requirements for equipment, tooling and automation, supporting supplier selection, commissioning and qualification, including FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Monitor process performance through FPY, scrap, cycle time, OEE and Cp/Cpk, using data analysis and statistical process control to identify and resolve deviations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why and Ishikawa.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency and reduce scrap, downtime, lead time and cost.
• Provide technical support to Production, support process stabilisation and train operators on process requirements and controls.
• Support capacity planning, layout, material flow, supplier qualification and process audits.
• Prepare process documentation for technology and process transfer to other production sites, partners or Group entities.
• Report process performance, project progress and technical risks to the Head of Industrialisation.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrialisation Engineer or in a comparable production environment.
• Experience in technology-intensive manufacturing environments such as fuel cells, advanced ceramics, batteries, electronics, semiconductor, automotive or medical devices.
• Proven experience in process validation, NPI and production ramp-up.
• Practical knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, DOE, SPC and Cp/Cpk.
• Experience with equipment specification, commissioning and qualification, including FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and structured problem solving; Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of measurement and inspection methods, technical drawings and GD&T.
• Good command of Excel and data analysis; familiarity with ERP or manufacturing execution systems is a plus.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and HSE requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English required; Italian highly preferred.
• Experience in SOFC, ceramic processing or technology transfer is a plus.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to ensure the availability, reliability and safe operation of production equipment, utilities and plant infrastructure. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of approximately six maintenance technicians and coordinate external service providers.

A central part of the role is to build a structured maintenance system that supports serial production. You will develop the asset register, define maintenance strategies, establish consistent use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), improve spare parts management and monitor performance through clear indicators. You will also strengthen the team’s technical capabilities, particularly in automation and controls.

What you will do

• Establish a single CMMS work order process for recording, prioritising, scheduling, completing and verifying maintenance requests. Ensure each work order clearly defines the tasks, required parts, expected duration, acceptance criteria and responsibilities
• Review and resolve the backlog of open or unverified work orders, regularly aligning priorities and resources with Production
• Build and maintain an asset register containing technical data, documentation, spare parts lists and maintenance history. Assess equipment criticality and define an appropriate maintenance strategy for each asset
• Develop preventive maintenance plans based on operating hours, cycle counts and manufacturer requirements. Create detailed, practical checklists and establish reliable tracking of machine counters
• Use existing machine alarms and condition monitoring functions, assessing additional techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography or oil analysis where justified
• Lead root cause analysis of recurring or high-impact failures, verify corrective actions and update maintenance plans. Develop business cases for lasting solutions to chronic problems
• Work with Industrialisation, Quality and R&D to resolve equipment failures affecting products or processes. Manage equipment modifications through formal change control, preserving CE conformity, machine certification and qualified process settings
• Define critical spare parts, stock levels, reorder points and lead times. Manage the budget for parts and services and evaluate repair-versus-replacement decisions
• Maintain technical documentation, including manuals, drawings, equipment settings, PLC programme backups, maintenance instructions and modification records, in line with ISO 9001 requirements
• Develop the team’s expertise in automation and controls, including the management of software licences, backups and access, and arrange specialist support when needed
• Define responsibilities and required competencies for each technician, organise shift and on-call coverage, set objectives and provide regular feedback
• Ensure that internal activities and external contractors meet health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, including work permits, lockout/tagout procedures, mandatory inspections and calibrations
• Monitor equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, planned versus reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance completion, backlog and maintenance costs, using these indicators to drive improvement.

Essential Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation or Industrial Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 3–5 years in a maintenance management role
• Demonstrated experience building or restructuring a maintenance system, including an asset register, preventive maintenance programme, CMMS processes, spare parts management and KPI reporting
• Solid experience with automated production lines, PLC-controlled equipment, drives and sensors. Experience with furnaces or high-temperature process equipment is strongly preferred
• Practical knowledge of TPM, reliability-centred maintenance, FMEA, criticality assessment and root cause analysis
• Experience using a CMMS or EAM system to plan, manage and measure maintenance activities
• Experience leading technical teams, coordinating external service providers and managing maintenance and spare parts budgets
• Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written.

We are looking for an Industrial Quality Technician to perform incoming, in-process and final inspections. In this role, you will verify that materials, components and products meet technical specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.

You will work closely with Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to identify non-conformities, support investigations and help improve manufacturing processes.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, purchased components and externally processed items against drawings, specifications and acceptance criteria
• Review supplier documentation, certificates of conformity and test reports, maintaining accurate inspection and traceability records
• Carry out in-process inspections in line with Quality Control Plans and approved manufacturing instructions
• Monitor critical process parameters and product characteristics, reporting deviations when needed
• Perform final inspections and product release checks, ensuring that quality documentation, identification and traceability requirements are complete
• Record and follow up on non-conformities, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collect and analyse quality data to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
• Use measuring and testing equipment correctly, verify its calibration status and report any equipment that is unsuitable for use
• Support quality system activities, including internal and customer audits, while following health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

• A technical diploma in an industrial, mechanical, mechatronic or electronic field or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2–3 years of experience in industrial quality control within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with incoming inspections and in-process quality controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Practical experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and multimeters
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and non-conformity management, with a basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems
